Job Description

UNDERWRITER United Federal Credit Union, a progressive team oriented financial institution, has an opening on the Support Services Team for an Underwriter. The Underwriter provides credit and collateral risk analysis of high-risk loan applications to ensure that Credit Union loan policies and guidelines are adhered to for consumer loans. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication, problem solving, negotiation and advanced computer skills. Analytical skills at a level to effectively access and manage loan risk are required. The candidate should be able to multi-task and thrive on continuous change and process improvement. High school diploma or equivalent required. Some college preferred. Minimum of two years’ experience in related field required. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
