Responsibilities

Maximize Seller relationships through formulating and executing effective remedy activities for performing loans, non-performing loans, and loans subject to anti predatory review. (negotiation activity is mentioned below). Receive and review repurchase letter draft from source.(Underwriting QC, Servicing, Fraud) Tracks responses, sends follow up letters, and makes collection calls, negotiates time frames for Seller¿s in an assigned marketing segment, and negotiates a loss share or indemnification when offered. Gathers information that aids in preparing collection status reports for distribution to senior management and other departments. Generate remedy letters addressing identified loan level issues for the customer. Collect outstanding repurchases, collaborating with Credit and Sales on cases that become overdue. Assist customers with resolving outstanding remedy issues. Record and evaluate Seller¿s appeals. Provide input regarding the effectiveness of their quality control programs and recommend alternative quality control approaches as appropriate.. Partner with region sales/marketing units to develop remedy collection strategies. Render final decision of the acceptability of loans, including contract exceptions and appeal acceptance or denial. Provide feedback to FM¿s Quality Control department on the quality and positioning of remedy letters drafted. The job requires a Bachelor¿s degree in related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills may be acquired; and three to five years of relevant experience.

Conditions of Employment

Freddie Mac will consider applicants who require H-1B sponsorship, but only if the applicant has at least three years of H status remaining out of the original six years of permissible H status. In order to be considered for permanent residence sponsorship, the individual must be employed with the company for 12 months and meet or exceed annual performance objectives established by their management team. This is a minimum requirement for sponsorship. The decision whether to sponsor an individual for nonimmigrant or immigrant status rests exclusively with Freddie Mac.
