Description
WJ Bradley is an independent retail mortgage banker committed to excellence in the mortgage lending industry. Highly motivated, talented and dedicated mortgage professionals are anxious to join our growing team.
The Company operates out of two central locations (Denver and Salt Lake City) with approximately 70 retail branch offices located throughout the United States. We currently have multiple openings for Mortgage Underwriters who are responsible for reviewing, analyzing and approving loans within Company and industry guidelines.
Requirements
Primary Responsibilities include:
* Assess loan attributes and documentation for compliance with Company and investor standards
* Evaluate debt ratio, LTV ratios, credit score, property valuation, etc.
* Apply specialized knowledge in the interpretation of applicable internal and regulatory Underwriting guidelines
* Assess all variables and determine conditions for loan approvals and/or denial
* Make final underwriting decisions
Skills/Requirements
Successful candidates will have:
* 3+ years of mortgage underwriting experience
* Conventional and FHA/VA experience
* A strong sense of urgency and be deadline oriented
* Commitment to accuracy in the loan process
* Ability to multi-task and excellent time management skills
* Excellent interpersonal skills
