Job Description:
Mortgage Underwriter needed in Orlando, FL. Responsible for underwriting residential mortgage loans to ensure compliance with bank, FHA/VA, and secondary market standards. Communicates with processors, originators, and other internal and external clients. Meets performance standards and goals established by the bank. Typically reviews and/or underwrites conventional loans, but may be responsible for less complex FHA and VA loans. May support more experienced underwriters.
Basic Qualifications: 1 to 3 years of mortgage loan underwriting experience. 6+ years of mortgage loan processing or other related mortgage experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Pre-qualification experience.
